Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to manage retail site installations while also overseeing attendance and discipline of on-site personnel. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of installations across multiple locations while ensuring accurate manpower tracking and reporting.



Key Responsibilities:

A. Installation & Site Operations:

  • Supervise and manage daily installation activities at various retail project sites.
  • Coordinate with design, production, dispatch, and procurement teams for timely material delivery and execution.
  • Ensure quality installation as per approved drawings and project specifications.
  • Manage site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation labor teams.
  • Monitor progress and ensure on-time completion of site handovers.

B. Site Manpower Attendance & Compliance:

  • Maintain and track daily attendance of all site personnel including supervisors, skilled and unskilled labor.
  • Implement attendance systems like manual registers, biometric, or mobile-based apps.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of working hours, overtime, and leaves.
  • Coordinate with HR/admin for salary processing and compliance.
  • Address absenteeism, delays, and discipline issues proactively.

C. Quality Control & Safety:

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety norms and PPE usage on all sites.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and organized workflow.

D. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly installation and manpower reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to material receipt, work progress, and site issues.
  • Ensure proper client sign-offs and handover documentation.
E. Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate a team of site supervisors, installers, and labor contractors.
  • Allocate manpower and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and on-site training sessions.


Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Civil, Interior Design, Project Management or related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in retail/interior/fit-out project execution.
  • Hands-on experience in managing site installations and workforce.
  • Knowledge of site attendance systems (Excel, biometric, or mobile app).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel across project sites as per requirement.


Preferred Industry Background:

  • Retail Fit-Outs | Interior Contracting | Modular Furniture Installation | POP and Branding Projects | Construction.
  • Previous work with reputed retail project firms or interior execution companies like Satin Neo Dimensions, JLL, Livspace, Space Matrix, etc.
