Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions for clients
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design tailored solutions
• Develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets
• Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
• Communicate findings to clients clearly and concisely
• Mentor and train junior data scientists on technical skills and client communication
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics

Expertise and Key Skills:

1. Advanced Statistical Analysis

   – Deep understanding of statistical techniques and their application to real-world problems

2. Machine Learning

   – Strong background in developing and deploying predictive models

3. Data Wrangling

   – Expertise in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large, complex datasets

4. Programming Skills

   – Proficient in Python, R, and SQL, with ability to write scalable and maintainable code

5. Data Visualization

   – Ability to build compelling visualizations and reports for stakeholders

6. Business Acumen

   – Understanding of business processes and ability to align data solutions with strategic goals

7. Communication Skills

   – Capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

8. Leadership

   – Experience in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments

9. Project Management

   – Able to manage end-to-end data projects including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery

10. Continuous Learning

    – Commitment to staying current with advancements in data science and analytics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView is a plus)
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Excellent client presentation and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for data
