Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced data solutions on the Snowflake cloud platform. In this role, you will work with large, complex datasets, build scalable ETL pipelines, and develop robust data models that drive actionable insights for business and customer engagement initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will integrate Snowflake with analytics and customer engagement platforms, ensuring efficiency, performance, and data quality. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into business value. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines in Snowflake, supporting batch and real-time processing across diverse architectures
- Optimize Snowflake performance through effective data modeling, indexing, and monitoring
- Ensure data quality and integrity through QA processes, unit tests, and validation checks
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to align data strategy and implementation
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and visualizations for business stakeholders
- Integrate Snowflake data solutions with customer engagement platforms, supporting personalized marketing and CRM initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on Snowflake best practices, performance tuning, and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes (4+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Python (2+ years) for data manipulation and automation
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake features, including Snowpipe, Data Sharing, and Secure Data Sharing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Experience working in an agency or with external clients is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake certification
- Familiarity with other data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
