Senior Chemist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil analysis tests including Viscosity, TAN, TBN, FTIR, Water (Karl Fischer), PQ Index, ICP and Flash Point.
• Prepare and analyze samples accurately as per ASTM / ISO standards.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as Viscometer, FTIR, KF Titrator, Particle Counter, and Flash Point analyzer.
• Record and validate test results ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Enter and review test data in LIMS / laboratory software.
• Maintain reagent inventory, housekeeping, and safe laboratory practices.
• Lead day-to-day laboratory operations and guide junior chemists.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 & NABL requirements and documentation.
• Prepare & Maintain equipment calibration, uncertainty calculations, and QC charts.
• Support internal/external audits, CAPA implementation, and method verification.
• Review and approve test reports and ensure result accuracy.
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 3–4 years of oil testing laboratory experience with ISO/IEC 17025 & NABLdocumentation exposure.
• Strong understanding of ASTM standards for oil analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
