Collaborate with R&D and production teams to improve product formulations and resolve quality issues. Conduct failure analysis and suggest corrective actions. Ensure testing procedures comply with national/international standards (ASTM, ISO, BIS, etc.). Maintain testing equipment, ensure calibration, and adhere to lab safety protocols. Assist in the development of new test methods and validation of equipment. Maintain documentation as per ISO/IEC 17025 (if applicable). Key Requirements: B.Tech / M.Sc in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 25 years of hands-on experience in polymer or plastic testing. Proficient with laboratory instruments used in thermal, mechanical, and chemical testing. Familiarity with relevant testing standards (ASTM, ISO, IS, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive/plastics/R&D lab environment. Knowledge of regulatory compliance such as RoHS, REACH, etc. Experience with statistical tools for data analysis (e.g., Minitab, Excel).

Sound knowledge of BIS standards and ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems. Hands-on experience with physical and chemical testing of footwear. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Familiarity with safety footwear, sports footwear, and casual shoe categories is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international testing standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, EN). Exposure to compliance audits and certification processes. Role & responsibilities Perform microbiological analysis of water samples as per BIS/IS standards. Conduct microbial testing of textile materials, including but not limited to antibacterial, antifungal, and biodegradation tests. Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with standard methods and NABL/QAI accreditation requirements. Prepare and maintain testing records, calibration logs, and test reports.
