*Job Vacancy: Senior Chemist (Tablet / Capsule) - Manufacturing Plant, Roorkee* Location: Roorkee, Uttarakhand Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Department: Production 🔹*Job Description:* We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemist for our state-of-the-art WHO pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Roorkee. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient manufacturing of high-quality tablets and capsules, overseeing production processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize formulations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all operations meet strict quality and safety guidelines. 🔹*Key Responsibilities:* Formulation Development: Develop, optimize, and scale-up tablet and capsule formulations for production. Manufacturing Support: Provide technical guidance during tablet and capsule production, ensuring all formulations are produced according to company standards and specifications. Quality Assurance: Perform in-process checks and ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and other relevant quality standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve formulation or manufacturing issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate batch records, reports, and logbooks to ensure complete traceability of products. Training: Train and mentor junior chemists and technicians in the tablet/capsule production processes. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing practices adhere to applicable national and international regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality Control, and Production teams to implement improvements and resolve challenges. 🔹*Qualifications:* Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on tablet and capsule production. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and technologies used in tablet and capsule production. In-depth understanding of WHO,GMP, ICH, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Experience with troubleshooting and optimizing tablet and capsule formulations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 🔹*Desired Skills:* Knowledge of solid dosage form production (tablets/capsules). Familiarity with stability studies and analytical testing. Hands-on experience with coating, granulation, and compression processes.
