Senior Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to grow our placement agency business by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and generating recruitment mandates across multiple industries. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of recruitment services and excellent client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new corporate clients for recruitment and staffing services
• Generate leads through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
• Understand client hiring needs and propose suitable recruitment solutions
• Negotiate commercials, close agreements, and onboard new clients
• Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients
• Track market trends and competitor activities
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and MIS reports
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development within a recruitment/placement agency
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Knowledge of white-collar and/or blue-collar hiring
• Familiarity with CRM tools and job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Existing client network in recruitment or staffing industry
• Experience handling bulk or lateral hiring mandates
• Understanding of HR processes and hiring lifecycle
