Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, with a strong focus on the education sector. The role requires a clear and confident mindset, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and a proactive approach to building and nurturing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored digital marketing solutions.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients to secure new business deals.
  • You’ll be expected to travel within and outside the city / outside the job location – although the extent to which this is the case will depend on where the Client is based.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track leads and opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver comprehensive digital marketing proposals and presentations.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and progress toward targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Master’s/ Bachelor's degree in Senior Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, or similar role in the digital marketing industry, advertising & media industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, and web development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets by bringing in a specified number of new clients within the timeline is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
