Job Description

As a Senior Business Developer at Camco India, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities in India's port and logistics sector. You will represent Camco's automation solutions, manage customer relationships, and support the sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closure. Reporting locally to the CEO of Camco India, your responsibilities will include: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within ports, terminals, and logistics companies across India. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and key stakeholders. - Understand customer needs and match them with appropriate Camco solutions. - Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals. - Coordinate with HQ and regional technical teams to support bids, technical responses, and pricing. - Lead the tendering process, including documentation, submission, and follow-up. - Maintain CRM records, track leads and opportunities, and report sales activities regularly. - Represent Camco at trade shows, conferences, and customer events. - Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to the regional growth plan. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field. - More than 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in automation, logistics, IT solutions, or infrastructure. - Proven ability to build client relationships and close deals in a consultative sales environment. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred. - Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus. - Willingness to travel across India (and occasionally abroad for training or meetings).
