Role Overview

ServiceNow Business Analyst (BA)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to

  gather, document, and analyze functional requirements

  for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into

  technical requirements

  ,

  user stories

  , and

  acceptance criteria

  for development teams.
• Work closely with developers and architects to ensure

  solution design aligns with business goals

  and ServiceNow best practices.
• Conduct

  workshops, demos, and UAT sessions

  with stakeholders for validation and feedback.
• Support

  process improvement initiatives

  and identify automation opportunities within ServiceNow.
• Maintain comprehensive

  process documentation

  , configuration details, and knowledge articles.
• Assist in

  testing, troubleshooting, and post-deployment validation

  of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years

  of overall experience with at least

  4+ years as a ServiceNow Business Analyst

  .
• Strong understanding of one or more ServiceNow modules —

  ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or GRC

  .
• Experience working with

  App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, UI Builder

  , and

  Integration Hub

  .
• Proven ability to

  map business processes

  and recommend optimization through ServiceNow capabilities.
• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies

  ,

  user story creation

  , and

  JIRA or similar tools

  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and

  communication skills

  to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• ServiceNow

  Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  or

  Certified Business Analyst
