Commercial Insights/ Client Profitability

Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad

Role Description

CIB Data & Analytics is looking for Business Analysts that will work on the end-to-end flow of a broad range of analytics usecases, to deliver real business value. We need people with experience of the full range of business analysis skills, fromsupporting the development of business cases, gathering requirements, detailed data analysis, documenting solution designsand testing.This opportunity is for a technology focused Senior Analyst to join the Commercial Insights workstream of the Omniaprogramme. Omnia is CIB and Commercial Banking’s strategic tool for Client Analytics. It is both a detailed data asset andan interactive suite of reporting and insights, informing Frontline commercial decision-making from Portfolio to Customer andTransaction.

Workstream Objectives

▪ Commercial decision-making, enhanced identification of opportunities and more targeted allocation of effort enabledthrough data-led analytics across a range of use cases, including Transaction Banking Insights, ESG Insights, andProductivity

Principle Responsibilities Include

▪ End-to-end analytical support to technology change delivery, from requirements documentation and design, tocoordination of technical deployment and testing▪ Lead on data analysis, informing requirement scope and design▪ Work with the Product Owner to ensure that all key stakeholders are appropriately considered and engaged duringanalysis and implementation▪ Chair kick-off meetings, regular status updates and other forums▪ Adhere to workstream and programme governance structures, including regular updates to the PMO andProgramme Leadership, and MI as required▪ Monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as appropriate

Responsibility

The role holder will ideally have knowledge and experience in the following areas:▪ Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance and technology transformation (E)▪ Business analysis skills and end-to-end understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from requirementsdocumentation to deployment and testing (E)▪ Experience in MI / dashboard delivery (E)▪ Strong understanding of business / finance concepts and terminology within a banking environment (E)▪ Skilled in data analysis, research, validation and documentation (E)▪ Detail oriented, capable of delivering work to a high level of accuracy (E)▪ Strong self-starter, enthusiastic problem solver, ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimalsupervision (E)▪ Excellent written and verbal communication (E)▪ Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and above all a team player (E)▪ High level of competency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel (E)▪ Experience of QlikSense tooling delivery (D)▪ Experience of Gen AI concepts, applications and technical delivery (D)▪ Background in programming language (e.g. SQL / Python / Qlik) (D)
