Senior Back End Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back-end Developer to join our team for the development of our web portal. As a Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the server-side logic, and database integration, and ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of the portal. You will work closely with the front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience and robust functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side architecture and logic of the web portal
• Integrating the web portal with the chosen database technology (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Collaborating with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate server-side functionality with the user interface
• Implementing secure authentication and access control mechanisms to protect user data and ensure proper access management
• Optimizing the web portal for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness
• Collaborating with the team to define and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Troubleshooting and resolving performance and scalability issues in collaboration with the team
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in back-end development and applying them to enhance the web portal

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Back-end Developer or a similar role, with 

  at least 3 years

   of hands-on experience and a strong portfolio of web development projects.
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as 

  Java

   and 

  .NET

  .

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js

  , including building scalable server-side applications using frameworks such as 

  Express.js

   or 

  NestJS

  .
• Solid experience with 

  MySQL

   and other relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of 

  SQL

   for efficient database integration and data management.
• Experience in developing and consuming 

  RESTful APIs

  , web services, and integrating third-party systems.
• Familiarity with 

  Windows-based deployments

  , including IIS/Node hosting, environment configuration, and process management (e.g., PM2).
• Basic knowledge of 

  front-end technologies

   such as 

  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

  , and an understanding of how front-end applications interact with back-end APIs.
• Familiarity with 

  cloud-based environments

   (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern deployment processes (CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently when required.
