Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced

Senior Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

to design, develop, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and lead GitOps-based deployments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with

Azure DevOps

Terraform

, and

Argo CD

, and be capable of operating in a client-facing consultant capacity while mentoring teams on DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
Manage Azure Repos, Boards, and secure pipelines with service connections
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform for Azure components (VMs, VNets, Storage, etc.)
Handle Terraform state management and modular infrastructure codebases
Implement GitOps workflows and Argo CD for pull-based deployments
Integrate Git repositories with Argo CD for declarative infra management
Provision Azure resources using ARM templates or Bicep
Automate scaling, alerting, and monitoring with Azure-native tools
Act as a consultant for client teams on DevOps strategy and tooling
Lead technical design sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
Coach and mentor junior engineers on Azure DevOps and infrastructure automation

Mandatory Technical Skills

Proven expertise in Azure DevOps – scripting CI/CD pipelines using YAML
Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Deep understanding of GitOps principles and Argo CD workflows
Hands-on knowledge of Azure infrastructure – VM, Networking, App Services, Storage, Key Vaults
Scripting experience in PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks
Strong background in consulting, stakeholder engagement, and team mentoring

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Bicep or ARM Templates for infra provisioning
Exposure to other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or other observability tools
Familiarity with SAST/SCA tools like Snyk or SonarQube
Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Methodologies & Soft Skills

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC frameworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams

Educational Qualification

BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104, or Terraform Associate are highly desirable
