Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Automation Architect with extensive experience in test automation framework design for customer-facing eCommerce and internal ERP web-based platforms. The role will involve leading several projects developing and deploying scalable, reusable automation frameworks, defining strategies for data-driven testing, and establishing best practices for automated test executions. The ideal candidate will also design strategies for data handling, API assertions, CI/CD integrations and working closely with stakeholders to create a future-proof solution. When not conducting project work, you will be responsible for growing your skillset, training with our internal team, and tinkering with the latest and greatest SDLC tools on the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement a scalable automation framework for eCommerce-based platforms.
• Lead the setup of a comprehensive data strategy for automation, covering test data generation, conditional data, and UI handling.
• Implement strategies for API calls, hooks, and test execution best practices.
• Optimize TestOps integration using CLI and ensure alignment with the CI/CD pipeline.
• Mentor the team on maintaining and scaling the automation framework, providing documentation and training.

Required Skills:

• Excellent English Communication Skills
• Must have UFT, Playwright, or Testim Experience, no exceptions.
• 8+ years in automation, with hands-on experience with automation framework design.
• 3+ years Software Development Experience
• Strong expertise in data-driven testing, including test data generation and API handling.
• Proven experience with eCommerce and customer-facing platforms.
• Familiarity with TestOps, CLI integration, and test grouping for optimal execution.
