About The Team

Meesho Grocery aims to revolutionise the way India shops for Grocery and towards that objective, we wantto enable the lowest cost distribution for all daily needs. Grocery has the biggest share of the overall retailspend in India. It is projected to be a $800B market in 2024, of which the majority contribution comes fromnon-metro cities. The grocery market in Metro and Tier 1 has become crowded with a lot of players trying tosolve the supply chain but the higher cost of logistics restricts these players from disrupting the lower-tiercities.At Meesho Grocery, we are building the most cost-effective distribution channel to disrupt the grocery marketin lower-tier cities of India. Meesho Grocery is an early-stage mini start-up within Meesho with a completelydifferent supply chain and modus operandi. We are a bunch of high-energy enthusiasts working towardscreating something cool and big.

About The Role

As a Senior Associate – Operations, you’ll be the backbone of our on-ground supply chain processes, ensuring smooth operations across vendor management, cash handling, and consumable procurement. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of vendor payouts, cost tracking, and operational controls while building strong partnerships that enhance vendor experience and drive efficiency.In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to keep our supply chain agile, cost-effective, and ready for scale — every single day.

What You Will Do

Manage vendor payouts and invoicing — ensure timely, accurate settlements and maintain strong governance over all financial touchpoints.
Drive cash reconciliation and shrinkage control, identifying discrepancies and implementing measures to minimize losses.
Build and nurture vendor relationships to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, quick issue resolution, and consistent service delivery.
Handle consumable procurement and stock keeping, ensuring availability of essential materials while optimizing cost through effective rate negotiations.
Track and analyse supply chain costs — monitor trends, validate ad-hoc expenses, and share actionable insights for cost optimization.
Collaborate with Processing Center, Procurement, and Finance teams to align operational processes and strengthen end-to-end control.
Use on-ground insights and data to drive process improvements, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain network.

What You Will Need

1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Fulfillment, or Vendor Management.
Strong understanding of payout cycles, reconciliation, and vendor governance in a fast-moving operational setup.
Experience in consumable procurement and vendor negotiations.
Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; comfort with data tracking and cost reporting.
A bias for action, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
