Role Overview: As a Supervising Analyst/ Lead Analyst in the BR Enablement - Risk Management Services team at EY, you will be responsible for conducting research and executing global Independence and procurement processes aligned with EY Global (EYG) policies. Your main focus will be on assisting professionals in complying with the firm's business relationship Independence and procurement policies by gathering and performing secondary research to identify third-party ownership, affiliations, and financial relationships. Additionally, you will provide coordinated support to EY professionals by answering their inquiries on business relationship-related topics. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to EY's reputation as an independent auditor by supporting niche third-party risk management/business relationship profiles within a dynamic and growing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a strong working knowledge of firm-level business relationship and procurement concepts including financial interests, family relations, and business relationships. - Perform work procedures as per EYG business relationship Independence and procurement policies, including conducting secondary research, gathering required information from vendors, and providing process and tool-related consulting support to EY professionals. - Coordinate with different risk management departments for approvals and provide consultative support to EY professionals in mitigating business relationship-related risks. - Demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to interpret vendor company structures, affiliations, ownership, and relationships according to audit client and affiliate definitions. - Build technical expertise in internal tools and systems to provide support and become a subject matter expert in Independence and risk management processes. - Engage in knowledge calibration sessions, address process-related questions, and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. - Manage client/stakeholder relationships by staying connected, leading calls, and performing root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action. - Collaborate with team members, provide feedback, monitor performance, and mentor individuals to drive the highest delivery standards.
