Description
We are seeking a skilled ASP.NET Developer with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic IT software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using ASP.NET technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality ASP.NET web applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, MVC, and Web API. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and UI/UX designers, to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. Implement security best practices to safeguard applications from vulnerabilities. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers. Work with SQL Server to design and optimise database queries, stored procedures, and schema design. Stay updated with emerging ASP.NET technologies, frameworks, and tools and integrate them when appropriate. Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Assist in technical documentation and user manuals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4 to 5 years of professional experience in ASP.NET development (ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core preferred). Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/Core, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. Solid understanding of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, and writing complex SQL queries. Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and API integrations. Experience with version control tools such as Git, or SVN. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred (But Optional): Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
