Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade DevOps automation, tooling, and platform architecture across the full application lifecycle.
- Craft secure, scalable, and maintainable DevOps solutions, enabling product teams to self-service environment provisioning, builds, and deployments.
- Define architectural standards and best practices for DevOps toolchains including GitOps and Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS pipelines.
- Architect robust infrastructure templates and provisioning patterns using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
- Enable lifecycle management of container workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm ensuring scalable deployments and rollout strategies.
- Build and expose internal tooling and APIs (via PowerShell, Python + FastAPI or equivalents) to accelerate platform capabilities and developer productivity.
- Incorporate observability and visibility by integrating monitoring/CMDB tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, AppInsights).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SRE, CloudOps, Security, and IT to enforce resilient, compliant, and scalable infrastructure patterns.
- Lead incident response, technical root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to pipeline stability and rollback mechanisms.
- Champion reusable toolkits and DevOps frameworks that promote consistency, speed, and reliability across global engineering teams.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 13+ years in software engineering, platform architecture, or DevOps leadership roles, with proven enterprise-grade delivery.
- 4+ years designing DevOps architecture in Azure-heavy, Microsoft-technology platforms
- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS), GitOps principles, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM).
- Hands-on experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker/Helm deployments.
- Strong backend/API automation experience using PowerShell and Python (FastAPI or similar).
- Skilled in monitoring and observability integrations (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK).
- Solid understanding of platform security, compliance, multi-tenant resilience, and rollback strategies.
- Excellent communicator capable of influencing Product Engineering, CloudOps, SRE, and executive stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions, Azure DevOps, or relevant cloud IaC certifications preferred.
