Senior Analyst, Settlement Services

• Obtaining required documents from title companies, settlement agents, attorneys, municipalities, Realtors, and customers as needed to ensure clear title.
• Review required documentation to ensure compliance with investor title guidelines. This may include title reports, tax certificates, closing protection letters, wiring instructions, attorney opinion letters, surveys, etc.
• Proficiently and independently perform title review for purchase, refinance, and home equity transactions with little oversight or support from team leads and/or managers.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with third parties to seek needed clarification or resolve inquiries related to clouds on title.
• Balance high productivity with high quality.
• Serve as escalation point and subject matter expert for teammates in coordination, underwriting, and post-closing

• 
  2+ years title and/or closing and settlement experience required
• Strong understanding of title guidelines and/or closing and settlement procedures.
• Must be fully proficient with assessment of liens, judgments, property taxes, special assessments, surveys, mortgage deeds, etc.
• Exercises good judgment and comfortable operating with ambiguous guidelines. Must be able to balance loan quality/risk management with speed, productivity, and customer experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities with tight deadlines
• Initiative to suggest ideas for process and technology improvements
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective verbal and written communication/presentation skills in English
• Proficiency in analyzing documents and meticulous attention to detail
