Senior Analyst - Java Production Support

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java ProductionSupport Engineer to join our team. Focused onsupporting and enhancing our production systems while working closely withclients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and drive support resolution withsenior external clients, internal stakeholders, and other engineering teams.
• Responsible for L1/L2/L3 production support,issue troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Automate manual processes to increase efficiencyand reduce risk.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond toincidents as needed.
• Continuously improving processes and systems toincrease reliability.
• Suggest improvements to the roadmap forenhancing client experience.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and codesnippets for clients and internal teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members forsuccessful issue resolution.
• Develop and mature SRE strategy to ensurescalability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technicalissues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in trouble shooting Java/J2EE/Microservices Applicationsdeployed on any of the industry standard Front end Application Servers such asIBM WAS, IBM WPS, JBoss, Tomcat.
• Experience in any Industry standard ApplicationPerformance Monitoring Tool such as AppDynamics, Splunk, BMC Patrol, HPBSM, Dynatrace, etc.
• Experience in any ticketing Tool e.g. BMC Remedy/ GSD / ServiceNow.
• Hands on experience on UNIX. Pythonbased automation is a plus.
• Experience in debugging API calls andwriting quality-of-life scripts for clients.
• Ability to create scripts for debugging andtooling purposes.
• Understanding of Micro-services, RESTAPIs and integration with Mule Gateway, AnyPoint, PCF.
• Presentable and confident communicator, able tointeract with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to debug and resolve Java applicationissues in a live production environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skillsfor working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with business-critical serverapplication support will be an advantage.
