About the Role

Drive end-to-end design, implementation & deployment of AI-powered data solutions on Azure (Data Factory, Databricks/Spark, Data Lake, Synapse).

Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

• Build robust data pipelines: crawling unstructured sources → ETL → fact tables → data quality checks → vector embeddings.
• Integrate and manage multiple data sources (APIs, flat files, enterprise apps) into a unified data lake.

AI & ML Innovation

• Research, prototype & productionize Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning, Image/Speech Recognition models to extract insights from text, voice & images.
• Leverage Vector DBs (FAISS, ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate) and Feature Stores for high-performance semantic search and retrieval.

MLOps & Scale

• Containerize (Docker/Kubernetes) and automate CI/CD pipelines for models & services.
• Enforce best practices for security, performance, observability & reproducibility.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Data Engineering & SMEs to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Mentor, review & uplift fellow engineers; champion code quality, documentation & agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in full-stack AI/ML engineering, with 3+ years on Azure data technologies
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related; PhD a strong differentiator

Required Skills

• Strong Python expertise plus familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands-on with Azure: Data Factory, Databricks/Spark (or Fabric), Data Lake Gen1/2, Synapse/SQL DW
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, NLP, deep learning and vector-search architectures
• Proficient in data storage: RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), plus Vector DBs
• Solid software engineering: API/Web-services integration, Git, Eclipse/Enterprise Architect, UML & architecture blueprints
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, RUP) in Outsourcing/BPO environments is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging stakeholders at all levels
