Senior Advocate - Real Estate

We are looking for an experienced Senior Advocate Real Estate to handle legal matters related to land and plot transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in real estate laws, drafting, documentation, and due diligence, with hands-on experience in land and plot-related legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and vet real estate legal documents including Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, MOUs, Power of Attorney, Lease Deeds, and related instruments.
• Conduct legal due diligence for land and plot transactions, including title verification and documentation checks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws, local land regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with government offices, sub-registrar offices, and local authorities for registration and documentation.
• Handle property documentation, approvals, and legal compliance related to land and plot projects.
• Support internal teams on legal matters related to sales, acquisitions, and project execution.
• Maintain proper legal records, case files, and documentation.
• Liaise with external advocates, consultants, and legal authorities as required.
• Provide legal guidance to management on real estate-related risks and compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of real estate laws and land/plot transactions.
• Expertise in legal drafting and documentation.
• Experience with title search, due diligence, and registration processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and legal accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Educational Qualifications

• LLB / Law Degree from a reputed university or institution

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in real estate legal work.
• Prior experience in land and plot-based real estate projects is mandatory.
• Experience in dealing with local land laws and authorities will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work from office (WFO).
• Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred
