Senior Accounts Officer

The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, handling invoices, and supporting audits and budgeting activities to ensure the company’s financial integrity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Manage petty cash, bank deposits, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle tax-related documentation and coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide financial data and analysis to management as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZohoBooks, SAP, or MS Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
