Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and report variances.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, tax laws).
Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity.
Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
Liaise with senior management, auditors, banks, and external consultants to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
