Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations, prepare accurate financial reports, manage budgets, and ensure tax compliance. Key responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, conducting audits, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role also requires collaborating with internal teams for strategic financial planning and providing insights to improve organizational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with accounting software Tally and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying financial trends and risks
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as CA or CPA are a plus
Prior experience in real estate accounting is highly desirable
