Senior Accountant

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the financials of multiple entities and ensure our books are tax-ready.

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Accountant (Remote – India) who can efficiently handle multi-entity accounting, oversee financial operations, manage budgets, and implement cost controls. This role is crucial in ensuring that all financial records are accurate, compliant, and ready for tax filings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with U.S.-based businesses and be comfortable managing multiple companies and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management:

• Oversee and maintain the books for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

• Ensure books are clean, reconciled, and tax-ready for CPA review and filings.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Develop, manage, and track budgets for multiple entities.

• Implement cost control measures to improve financial efficiency.

• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.

Tax & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.

• Work with U.S. tax advisors and external auditors to support tax preparation and filings.

• Stay updated on changes in U.S. tax laws and financial reporting standards.

Payroll & Employee Management:

• Oversee payroll processing and compliance for multiple employees.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Assist in setting up accounting policies and procedures for financial oversight.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or CA certification is a plus.

• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting software, along with **Microsoft Excel
