We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Chennai. Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Accountant (Male) , aged between 35 and 40 years , with at least 10 years of experience in core accounting. The candidate will be based at our Chennai office but should be willing to travel frequently across Tamil Nadu to oversee accounts and ensure compliance at various branch offices. Key Responsibilities: Handle complete accounting functions including general ledger, reconciliation, and finalization of accounts. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports. Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and company policies. Conduct periodic internal audits and support external audit processes. Oversee branch-level accounts across Tamil Nadu and ensure timely reporting and accuracy. Implement and monitor financial controls and systems across locations. Assist management in financial planning and decision-making. Supervise and guide junior accountants as required. Candidate Requirements: Male candidates only , aged 35 to 40 years . Graduate in Commerce or Finance; CA Inter or Final is an added advantage. Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multi-location or logistics environment. Proficient in Tally , MS Excel , and accounting tools. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and audit processes. Must be willing to travel frequently across Tamil Nadu .
