Senior Accountant – Hospitality

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Daily & Weekly Accounting

• Maintain 

  day-wise sales, purchase, petty cash, and expense entries

   in accounting software.
• Ensure 

  cash, card, and UPI reconciliation

   with ICICI and other bank statements.
• Maintain 

  ledger mapping

   for vendors and ensure zero mismatch.
• Record 

  MDR, discounts, wallet charges

  , and ensure all settlements are booked correctly.
• Oversee 

  inventory and purchase coordination

   with the store and purchase team.
• Sending payment reminder mails for all vendors and ensuring there are accurate dues. 

Monthly & Statutory Work

• Prepare and file 

  GST, TDS, and PF/ESIC

   returns with consultants.
• Manage 

  salary processing, attendance, and deductions

   with HR.
• Generate 

  monthly P&L, outstanding reports, and vendor summaries

   for review with the Founder.
• Support in 

  annual audit and compliance documentation

  .
• Visit bank for payments and loan schedule

Controls & Process Discipline

• Implement and monitor 

  daily Sales checklists

   for outlet managers.
• Conduct 

  surprise cash tallies and expense verifications.

• Coordinate with HR, Purchase, and Bakery teams for payment accuracy and record hygiene.
• Maintain a 

  strict zero-tolerance approach

   toward data gaps or unrecorded transactions.

Required Skills & Profile

• Minimum 

  3–5 years of accounting experience

  , preferably in 

  F&B / hospitality / retail

  .
• Strong command of 

  online bookkeeping software

  , Excel, and GST/TDS workflow.
• Experience handling 

  multi-location accounts

   (outlets, production, HO).
• Understanding of 

  PF, ESIC, and payroll structure

  .
• Detail-oriented, ethical, and proactive communicator.
• Must be comfortable with 

  fast-paced daily reporting

   and tight deadlines

Note: this profile requires occasional travel to banks, CA offices or any official work. Vehicle is a must and the candidate must be willing to travel for work.
