Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Nagasandra Department: Accounts Reporting To: Finance Manager / CFO CTC : 5 TO 5.5 LPA Experience Required: 5+ years in accounting, preferably in a mid to large-size company Software Knowledge: Tally ERP, MS Excel, GST Portal, TDS Portal Key Responsibilities:🔹 Bank ReconciliationPerform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Track and reconcile receipts, payments, and charges against bank statements. Liaise with banks for queries, charges, and adjustments. 🔹 Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using Tally ERP. Record journal entries, vendor payments, and receivables. Monitor general ledger activities and perform month-end closing. 🔹 TDS ComplianceCalculate and deduct TDS as per applicable sections (e.g., 194C, 194J, etc.). File quarterly TDS returns and generate Form 16/16A. Reconcile TDS ledgers and coordinate with vendors for PAN & TDS certificates. 🔹 GST / IGST ManagementPrepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9). Ensure compliance with GST input credit rules. Handle interstate IGST transactions and reconcile GST ledgers. Stay updated with GST law changes and ensure implementation. 🔹 Audit & ReportingAssist in internal and statutory audits. Provide financial data, schedules, and reconciliation statements as required. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, or CA-Inter preferred). Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables). Good understanding of GST, IGST, and TDS provisions. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. Soft Skills:Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Good communication skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and auditors.
