Location:Bahrain

Working Hours: 8 hours per day

Qualification: ACCA/CMA+Bcom


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant to lead the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and VAT regulations. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.


Supervise budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow planning.


Oversee and maintain an accurate general ledger, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.


Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations.


Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and local financial regulations.


Lead the internal control processes and ensure financial discipline across departments.


Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities as needed.


Provide strategic input for financial planning and decision-making to senior management.


Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff.


Regularly update management on financial health, key metrics, and variances.


Requirements:

Professional qualification – ACCA/CMA+Bcom


Minimum 9 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a similar senior role


GCC experience is an added advantage


In-depth knowledge of IFRS, VAT laws, and financial reporting standards


Proven experience in budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning


Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, QuickBooks, or equivalent)


Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal


Strong leadership and team management capabilities


Preferred Qualities:

Proactive problem-solver with the ability to make sound financial decisions


Ability to work independently under tight deadlines


Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams


High degree of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
