Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the packaging manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of relevant experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency. Proficiency in Excel and Miracle Accounting Software, along with a deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Manage costing, inventory accounting, and consumption tracking for raw materials and packaging products.
• Supervise preparation of invoices, credit/debit notes, vouchers, and other supporting documentation.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Support and coordinate audit processes and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Generate MIS reports and cost analysis to support management decision-making.
• Implement and streamline financial processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide the accounting team to enhance performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 8–10 years of proven accounting experience in the manufacturing sector (preferably packaging).
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, reporting).
• Strong hands-on experience with Miracle Accounting Software.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bhakti Nagar, Rajkot, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
