Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, and providing insights to support strategic decisions. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy in financial transactions, as well as maintaining thorough documentation for audits.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget preparation
Proficiency in reconciliation, tax compliance, and statutory regulations
Experience in financial data analysis and forecasting to support decision-making
Proficient in accounting software and tools, with advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent are preferred
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a product-based or manufacturing company
