Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with taxation requirements. Proficiency in Tally ERP, GST, and TDS management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

· Record daily collection entries and transactions in Tally ERP.

· Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

· Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting entries and ledgers.

2. Taxation & Compliance

· Prepare and file GST returns and TDS reports as per statutory deadlines.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.

· Maintain all statutory records and documentation for audits.

3. Reconciliation & Reporting

· Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis.

· Conduct vendor reconciliation and maintain payment schedules.

· Generate and review daily MIS (Management Information System) reports.

· Provide management with accurate financial insights for decision-making.

4. Audit Support & Coordination

· Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

· Ensure timely submission of reports and audit documentation.

· Implement audit recommendations and process improvements.

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

· High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Educational & Technical Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) — mandatory

· Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) — preferred

· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

· Hands-on experience in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
