(Key Accountabilities)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP programming and a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing custom ABAP solutions, enhancing existing functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Your expertise will be critical in driving the success of SAP-based projects.

Experience

• ABAP Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms for SAP ECC/S/4HANA systems.
• Develop user exits, BADI implementations, enhancements, and custom workflows.
• Support the development and maintenance of complex solutions across various SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, etc.).
• Modern ABAP technologies (ABAP OO, RAP, OData, CDS)

• Integration & Interfaces:

• Create and manage interfaces between SAP systems and external systems using BAPI, IDOC, Web Services, and other integration technologies.
• Participate in the design and development of middleware and integration solutions.

• Optimization & Performance Tuning:

• Identify and optimize inefficient ABAP code to improve system performance.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting on both custom and standard SAP programs.
• Improve ABAP Code in terms of readability and maintainability

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Testing & Debugging:

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure high-quality, error-free applications.
• Work closely with the QA team to validate the functionality of SAP solutions.

• Documentation & Code Quality:

• Document design specifications, technical designs, and any custom modifications in accordance with company standards.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
