Senior ABAP Developer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic S/4HANA development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom solutions within SAP systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with functional teams, contribute to digital transformation initiatives, and support the continuous evolution of our SAP landscape.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement and optimize objects using ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA development tools (e.g., CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori integration).
• Support data migration, system integration, and performance tuning activities.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and coding best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and support integration testing.
• Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer to support and operations teams.
• Collaborate in agile or hybrid delivery environments, contributing to sprint planning and solution design sessions.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience with S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/UI5 integration).
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming (OO ABAP) and modern ABAP techniques.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR from a technical perspective.
• Knowledge of interfaces and integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData, REST).
• Experience with SAP Fiori, RAP model, or cloud development is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA Development is a plus.
