Job Description (Key Accountabilities) We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP programming and a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing custom ABAP solutions, enhancing existing functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Your expertise will be critical in driving the success of SAP-based projects. 3. Job Specification Experience ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms for SAP ECC/S/4HANA systems. Develop user exits, BADI implementations, enhancements, and custom workflows. Support the development and maintenance of complex solutions across various SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, etc.). Modern ABAP technologies (ABAP OO, RAP, OData, CDS) Integration & Interfaces: Create and manage interfaces between SAP systems and external systems using BAPI, IDOC, Web Services, and other integration technologies. Participate in the design and development of middleware and integration solutions. Optimization & Performance Tuning: Identify and optimize inefficient ABAP code to improve system performance. Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting on both custom and standard SAP programs. Improve ABAP Code in terms of readability and maintainability Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices. Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure high-quality, error-free applications. Work closely with the QA team to validate the functionality of SAP solutions. Documentation & Code Quality: Document design specifications, technical designs, and any custom modifications in accordance with company standards. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
