Role & responsibilities

1. Access Control & Vigilance:

• Verify visitor credentials, issue gate passes (RGP/NRGP), and manage entry/exit logs.
• Monitor vehicle/personnel movement through designated gates.
• Conduct routine checks of inbound/outbound materials to prevent pilferage.

2. Surveillance & Patrols:

• Operate and monitor CCTV systems; report malfunctions immediately.
• Perform scheduled patrolling of plant premises, compound walls, and critical zones.
• Identify and report security breaches.

3. Emergency Response:

• Act as first responder during incidents.
• Implement emergency protocols under supervisor guidance.
• Assist in investigations by preserving evidence and documenting details.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain daily logs for vehicle movements, visitor entries, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs for material handling and gate-pass tracking.
• Support audits by providing accurate records.

5. Equipment & Facility Checks:

• Inspect and maintain security gadgets.
• Validate functionality of lights, fences, and surveillance equipment during rounds.

6. Traffic & Crowd Management:

• Enforce traffic rules within plant premises to ensure smooth vehicle flow.
• Manage crowds during emergencies or high-activity periods.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years in industrial security, defense, or facility guarding.
• Excel and SAP Knowledge.
• Exposure to CCTV operation and patrolling procedures.
