Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Prepare and file corporate Income Tax Returns (ITR) within prescribed timelines.
Manage tax audits, including coordination with statutory auditors and preparation/review of Form 3CD.
File statutory forms such as Form 3CEB (Transfer Pricing Report), Form 61A (SFT), Form 15CA/CB, etc.
Review and submit Form 197 applications for lower/nil TDS deduction.
File Form 281 challans and respond to queries raised by the Income Tax Department.
Support consultant for filing Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
Ensure timely submission of SFT under Rule 114E.
Determine applicability and rates of TDS for domestic and foreign payments, ensuring compliance with relevant provisions and DTAA benefits where applicable.
Support corporate tax team by extracting required data from SAP and coordinating with accounts teams for information gathering
Handle direct tax litigation matters at various appellate levels including CIT(A), ITAT, and higher forums.
Monitor and track tax notices, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Prepare advance tax computations and ensure timely payment of installments as per statutory due dates.
Prepare deferred tax workings in compliance with applicable accounting standards and coordinate with auditors for review.
Liaise with consultants for TP study, analysis, and benchmarking.
Support TP audits and ensure compliance with BEPS Action Plans and CbCR requirements.
Evaluate tax implications of various business transactions and provide strategic advisory.
Review and interpret amendments in direct tax laws and assess their business impact.
Develop processes to ensure compliance with statutory timelines and mitigate interest/penalty exposures.
