Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Operations & Service

  • Design and support IT security services for cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Handle security incidents and provide detailed reporting.
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize IT security solutions.
  • Advise internal departments on IT security best practices.
  • Manage external service providers within service and escalation processes.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for problem analysis and escalation.
  • Identify and monitor vulnerabilities across systems.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation, guides, and operational manuals.
  • Analyze and assess security-related incidents and threats.
  • Optimize and document the IT Security Incident Response process.
  • Develop and improve IT security concepts and strategies.
  • Perform proactive and reactive monitoring of IT security processes.
  • Prepare reports and evaluations on security events.
  • Analyze malicious software and assess criticality.
  • Detect infrastructure attacks and assist in developing a security dashboard for continuous risk assessment.
  • Provide 2nd & 3rd level support for IT security issues.
  • Contribute to the development of a group-wide IT security strategy.


Project & Change Management

  • Support projects aimed at enhancing IT security infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with service management and security tool usage guidelines.
  • Assist in onboarding new locations into the group-wide security structure.


Required Qualifications


Hard Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT security or a similar role.
  • Experience with SIEM and incident response solutions and processes.
  • Proficiency in security monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, CrowdStrike, Wireshark).
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management.
  • Understanding of IT security systems, network, and operating system architectures:
  • Firewalls and network devices (Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Extreme Networks preferred).
  • DMZ services.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure preferred).
  • Basic knowledge in IT security areas such as:
  • Forensics.
  • Security incident management.
  • Log analysis.
  • Documentation.
  • Ability to implement and control security strategies to minimize risks.
