Operations / Service

·        Administration of the network & security system landscape

·        Implementation, commissioning and maintenance of solutions according to specifications

·        Configuration of complex infrastructures

·        Technical advice to the specialist departments

·        Structured, cost- and performance-conscious selection of products and service providers

·        Control of external service providers within the framework of service and escalation management

·        Evaluation of savings opportunities and optimization possibilities in the area of responsibility

·        Assistance with maintenance work and 2nd / 3rd level support

·        Integration of 3rd party manufacturers in problem analyses including escalation management

·        Independent planning, implementation and monitoring of system updates (updates, upgrades, minor/major changes, SW/HW rule replacements/updates, etc.)

·  Responsible for the complete creation/continuation and updating of documentation, instructions and operating manuals across all sites

·        Evaluation of new techniques

·        System development of existing standard hardware and software products

·        Responsible for the sustainable operation of the group-wide (AUNDE, ISRINHAUSEN, FEHRER) network infrastructure

·  Assumption of service ownership for one or more services in the area of responsibility

For this position, we require a successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable professional training in the IT environment, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of network engineering and security.
