Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute

  SEO strategies focused on lead generation

  for interior design services.
• Perform

  keyword research tailored to Chennai and Hyderabad markets

  etc
• Optimize on-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, blogs, images, and landing pages.
• Strengthen

  local SEO

  with Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, NAP consistency, and hyperlocal keywords.
• Collaborate with content and design teams to publish

  SEO-friendly blogs, case studies, and project showcases

  that attract and convert leads.
• Improve

  technical SEO

  : site speed, mobile responsiveness, site structure, indexing, and schema markup.
• Build and maintain a

  high-quality backlink profile

  through relevant industry sites, design blogs, and local directories.
• Track and analyze performance using

  Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, etc.

• Generate monthly SEO reports with actionable insights on

  leads, conversions, rankings, and ROI

  .
• Stay updated on SEO trends and adapt strategies to search algorithm changes.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in

  service-based or home improvement industries

  .
• Strong expertise in

  local SEO and lead generation strategies

  .
• Familiarity with keywords and search intent related to

  interior design and home renovation

  .
• Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress/Zoho Sites/others).
• Good knowledge of

  content optimization

  and ability to guide writers for SEO-driven content.
• Analytical mindset with experience in tracking

  lead conversions from organic traffic

• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration and reporting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in

  PPC/Google Ads

  to complement SEO efforts.
• Knowledge of

  social media SEO

  (Instagram/Pinterest relevance for interiors).
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to implement SEO fixes directly.
• Exposure to

  design portfolio websites, Houzz, Justdial, Sulekha, and other lead-gen platforms
