Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Executive at Urban Yatra, located in Bhubaneswar. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving the company's search engine rankings, conducting keyword research, optimizing web content, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing link-building strategies. Additionally, the SEO Specialist will collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop and execute integrated SEO strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and website traffic.

• Conduct thorough SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations to improve site performance.

• Manage and update WordPress websites, ensuring strong UX/UI and technical SEO compatibility.

• Develop, run, and optimize paid advertising campaigns using Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping).

• Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports to assess campaign effectiveness.

• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

• Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to align efforts with business goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page SEO
  • 3-5 years of Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software
  • Ability to conduct performance analysis and apply data-driven methodologies
  • Content optimization and technical SEO skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
