Job Description

The Senior Manager – Operations and Sales will lead the company’s overall operations and sales strategy, driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction. This role demands a strategic and results-driven leader with strong management skills, extensive industry knowledge, and a proactive, hands-on approach to execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with Urban Yatra’s business goals and revenue targets. Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed performance KPIs. Identify and pursue new market opportunities while building and maintaining strong client relationships to grow the customer base. Analyze sales data, prepare comprehensive performance reports, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to design campaigns and generate high-quality leads. Oversee daily operational activities to ensure process efficiency, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives. Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflows and productivity. Manage vendor partnerships, supply chain logistics, and procurement processes to support operational needs. Monitor budget utilization and resource allocation to maximize cost-effectiveness and operational performance. Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred. 8–12 years of progressive experience in sales and operations management, including 3–5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM systems for sales and operations tracking. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in industries such as Travel, Retail, FMCG, or related sectors. Data-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer-centric solutions. Knowledge of operational risk management and business continuity planning.
