Role Overview

SEO Associate

Key Responsibilities

Assist the SEO Head in planning and executing SEO strategies.
Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits.
Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking for search visibility.
Support technical SEO activities such as site structure improvements, crawlability, indexing, and speed optimization.
Work on link-building strategies including outreach and partnerships.
Monitor rankings, traffic, and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
Prepare performance reports and share insights with the SEO Head.
Stay updated with the latest SEO and search engine algorithm trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, IT, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in SEO (agency/internship experience preferred).
Basic understanding of search engine algorithms, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and follow structured processes.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
