Job Description – Scrum Master Position: Scrum Master Experience: 7–10 years (including 2–3 years as Scrum Master) Educational Qualification Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Experience & Skill Set7–10 years of professional experience in software development with 2–3 years dedicated as a Scrum Master. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and hands-on experience in diligently applying them. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively in tackling challenges. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for building effective cross-functional relationships. Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and engineering processes. Exposure to SAFe scaling framework is desirable; CSM or equivalent certification is an advantage. Knowledge of Lean/Agile project management practices, estimation, risk analysis, root cause analysis, and data interpretation. Open-minded, creative, and able to identify growth opportunities for team performance. Ability to prioritize and orchestrate diverse tasks effectively. Experience in the medical device/healthcare domain will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities As a Scrum Master, you will: Manage 1–2 Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features within defined scope and budget. Ensure that teams follow the software development process with adherence to all relevant process steps. Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups) to consistently achieve sprint goals. Shield the team from distractions, impediments, and conflicts to maintain focus on backlog priorities and timelines. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth delivery. Define, track, and monitor key performance metrics to meet team, project, and product objectives. Identify and proactively manage risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place. Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Lean practices, driving continuous improvement and fostering a self-organizing culture.
