Scrum Master - Crypto Exchange

About the Role

We are developing a centralised crypto exchange focused on Options and Futures trading.

We’re hiring a Scrum Master to drive delivery across multiple agile teams ensuring disciplined sprint execution, high-quality delivery and smooth coordination between Product, Engineering and QA.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our Matching Engine, Risk Engine, Wallet Services and API modules are delivered on time and meet institutional-grade performance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

• Work closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to define sprint goals, priorities and backlog readiness.

• Track and remove delivery blockers across backend, frontend, mobile and QA teams.

• Maintain sprint velocity, burn-down charts and delivery metrics using tools like JIRA.

• Coordinate dependencies across critical modules – Order Management, Risk Engine, Matching Engine and Liquidation systems.

• Ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

• Guide the team in adopting Agile best practices and improving delivery efficiency.

• Maintain delivery transparency via dashboards and weekly progress reports for leadership.

• Support upcoming phases including Spot trading, ensuring scalability of delivery processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Manager in Crypto, Fintech, or Trading Systems.

• Proven track record managing derivatives (Options/Futures) or other complex trading products.

• Strong understanding of exchange architecture – OMS, Matching Engine, Risk Engine and Wallet layers.

• Deep knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, velocity tracking and backlog management.

• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Notion, GitHub and Slack.

• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to identify risks early, manage dependencies and ensure consistent sprint delivery.
