Job Description

Job Title: Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Executive

 

Objective:

 

A. Scientific and Regulatory Support (40%)

  1. Collate scientific data to support regulatory submissions to FSSAI, Legal Metrology and BIS on time.
  2. Support Regulatory services like Label Adequacy, FSMS Training, FSMS Audits as per the scope of services provided by the organization.
  3. Review draft notifications by Ministries and Authorities, reports by NGOs / Consumer Organizations impacting food regulatory compliance and business continuity to prepare executive summaries. 

 

B.     Coordination with Members (25%)

  1. Update Members and Internal IFBA Team on national and international media news related to food and beverage industry on daily basis.
  2. Prepare monthly tracker for each member on the agreed objectives.
  3. Coordinate with members for scientific support documents for further submission to concerned authorities as per potential business risk.

 

C.     Research and Project Execution (15%)

  1. Ideate and develop project intended documents for successful completion of the project on time.
  2. Prepare white papers and research kits for further submission to the concerned authorities / members.

 

D.     Day-to-Day Coordination for IFBA (10%)

  1. Coordinate and Support the communication events like webinars, conferences, roundtables etc. hosted / partnered by IFBA to achieve desired objectives.
  2. Participate in Industry meetings to achieve the defined objectives and voice member concerns at these larger industry platforms.
  3. Monitor IFBA Website and implement updates as per defined frequency.
  4. Release IFBA Newsletter as per defined frequency.

 

E.      Outreach to New Potential Members (10%)

  1. Research on market and identify business opportunities to drive new membership.
  2. Support new member or new food and beverage industry project outreach activities.  

 

Education Qualification:

Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Chemistry, Food Nutrition.   

 

Experience:

 

Desirable Attributes:

Good flare in English

Computer fluency in MS-office
