Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: As the SAP Solution Manager Engineer and Basis architect, you will be responsible for technical architecture, operations, and strategic planning of our SAP Solution Manager environment. You will be a Solman expert to collaborate with key stakeholders and ensure the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Solution Manager scenarios are implemented and maintained to serve business purposes. Also as Basis Architect integrate applications across On-premise and cloud. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your activities will be divided between daily Operational activities (e.g., maintenance of Solution Manger scenarios, technical monitoring, Job monitoring, fix errors and provide support to ChaRM and applying SAP notes where applicable) and Project activities (e.g., Solman upgrades, configure BPMon, Test Suite, migration to SAP Cloud ALM etc.) and creating documentation and work instructions. Coordination and review of requirements for feasibility in the standard practice. Planning, Prepare Strategies as Solution Architecture to integrate applications across On-premise and Cloud. Recommend approach to migrate and integrate applications. Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions Comprehensive customizing of Solution Manager scenarios. Creation of Solman configuration documentation. Integration of Solman and TOSCA for testing and transport release management. Analysis and solution of incidents and transport problems (ITSM & CTS). Exposure to audit relevant topics Co-ordination and import of SAP notes and TCIs Connection of systems to use SolMan functions and services Enabling and supporting Monitoring topics in SolMan Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of Solman scenarios. KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience working in SAP Solution Manager configuration, upgrade and migration. Experience on SAP Cloud ALM and RISE is preferred. Must have atleast 2 full cycle (end-to-end) Solution Manager implementation projects. Must have experience on utilizing best practices content from SAP and modify to build custom solutions according to business needs. Must have knowledge on test suite (both manual & automated with CBTA / TOSCA). Implementation of ChaRM, workflow and approval process configurations. This is critical and mandatory requirement. Must have experience in configuration of various reports such as EWA, SLR, DVM, etc. Must have experience in Scope & Effort Analyzer configuration with CCLM and UPL/SCMON. Must have experience in Solman basic configurations such as SOLMAN_SETUP, Managed system configuration, Technical & Job monitoring, false alert & grey metrics troubleshooting. Must have experience in business process monitoring & maintenance of business processes. Must have experience in Focused Insights dashboard configuration. Must have experience as Basis architect to migrate and integrate applications Good to have knowledge on CTS, cCTS, CTS+ configurations. Good to have knowledge on integration of SOLDOC with ChaRM. Good to have knowledge on process & project management configuration. Knowledge on cloud ALM capabilities is added advantage. Good to have knowledge on designing change management strategies according to business requirements. Knowledge on ITSM configuration is added advantage. Strong communication skills with ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
