Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Strategy

• Lead the design and blueprinting of integrated SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, specific modules like FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, CS) based on defined business requirements.
• Develop the overall SAP system landscape roadmap, architectural vision, and standards.
• Define non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability.

Business Alignment

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to understand, document, and translate business processes into SAP functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide expert recommendations on SAP-specific solutions and process improvements.

Implementation & Governance

• Provide technical and architectural governance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from conception to go-live and hyper-care.
• Oversee the configuration, customization, development (e.g., ABAP, Fiori), and integration of SAP modules with other systems (both SAP and non-SAP).
• Ensure all designs comply with company IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor a team of functional and technical consultants.
• Serve as the top-tier technical escalation point for complex design and integration issues.

Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and design specifications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Typically 12+ years of experience in SAP implementation, with at least 8+ years in an Architect or Lead Solution Designer role.2/3 + Implementation E2E Projects.
• Deep expertise in at least one core SAP module (e.g., SAP FICO, SD, MM) and strong knowledge of cross-module integration points.
• Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects (e.g., greenfield, brownfield).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is often a strong requirement.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SAP ASAP, Activate, or other relevant methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, API management).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and their integration with SAP is increasingly desired.

Preferred Certifications (A plus)
