Summary:
The SAP S/4HANA PM & Service Module Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) and Service modules to meet business needs. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective process design, integration, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Conduct business process analysis and gather requirements for SAP PM and Service modules.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and objectives.
- System Configuration & Customization
- Configure SAP S/4HANA PM & Service modules according to the business requirements.
- Develop and customize SAP functionalities, including equipment management, maintenance planning, work order management, and service contract management.
- Set up integration points with other SAP modules like MM, FICO, PP, and SD.
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Design end-to-end SAP PM and Service solutions, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, service orders, and billing.
- Define and implement solutions for equipment tracking, spare parts management, and maintenance planning.
- Develop service management functionalities, including service requests, notifications, and warranty tracking.
- Data Migration & Integration
- Lead or support data migration efforts for PM and Service master data, transactional data, and historical data.
- Ensure seamless integration with external systems (if required), such as IoT, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance solutions.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Create test cases, conduct unit and integration testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure solution meets performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Documentation & Training
- Develop functional and technical documentation for configuration, customization, and end-user guides.
- Provide training to end-users and support teams on SAP PM & Service functionalities and best practices.
- Post-Implementation Support
- Offer go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents related to SAP PM and Service modules.
- Monitor system performance and continuously enhance functionality and usability.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Engage with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure project milestones and goals are met.
- Serve as a point of contact for all SAP PM and Service-related queries, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA updates, patches, and new features.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new SAP functionalities, including predictive maintenance, asset management, and mobile solutions for field services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance and Service Module implementation and support.
- Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of PM/Service processes.
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end implementations, from blueprinting to post-go-live support.
- Skills:
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA PM and Service module configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, PP, and SD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Intelligent Asset Management (IAM).
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Exposure to industry best practices in maintenance and service management, such as ISO 55000 (Asset Management Standards).
Location: 3 months travel to Oman.
